The 14th of July, 1789, was marked by the capture of the Bastille. This day has since become the National Day. For the occasion, a Military Parade ground and air takes place every year from 9:30 am on the Avenue des Champs Elysees where parade all the armies.

This year the theme is “1917-2017: 100 years of technology” with eight iconic vehicles presented, including a Schneider tank, a Saint Chamond tank, a Leclerc tank, a Renault EG15 truck, a Latil truck, a 700 / 100, the Lauer truck

To end this day in style, a Fireworks will be taken from the Eiffel Tower from 11 pm whose theme is “Paris and the Olympic Games”
